Second Year

A people dedicated to building His house

dallas, tx

nine months

twenty-five hours/wk

Our Focus

is houses of prayer.

UPPERROOM is committed to establishing and growing dwelling places for God’s presence all over the world. For this reason, our Second Year experience is designed to train and equip levites to minister to the heart of the Lord in the place of prayer.

In your second year at USM you will grow deeper in Biblical knowledge, healthy perspectives and practices in leadership, understanding of revival history and the tabernacle of David, and practical skills for the Prayer Room setting.

After completing both the First and Second Year experiences, it is our goal that you would feel ready and encouraged to join or establish a praying community in a city around the globe.

prayer lab

A key element of our Second Year training lies in the Prayer Lab experience. Prayer Lab offers students the opportunity to not just learn about ministry to the Lord, but to put their knowledge to the test by leading times of prayer in a safe learning environment. The Prayer Lab experience helps students grow in their skills as a worship leader, prayer leader, or musician by applying prayer room tools, practicing sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and taking risks.

Prayer

Our prayer culture is all about ministering to The Lord. Students spend 16+ hours in the Prayer Room and Prayer Lab each week. We value the Presence of God and desire to establish a community in which the fullness of His Presence consistently manifests in our lives.

Classes

USM values honoring and loving relationships, and this translates to the classroom as well. Key classes during your Second Year experience will be…
